Seasonal dynamics of insect pests of potato under sub-tropical conditions revealed that the weather arameters influenced the insect population densities and resulted in spatial and temporal fluctuations. The data recorded at weekly intervals were subjected to correlation and regression analysis to estimate the effect of abiotic factors on population counts of these insect pests. Aphid and jassid population showed negative correlation with maximum and minimum temperature but positive correlation with relative humidity but opposite trend was observed in whitefly population.
