The current research explored the potentiality of three species of Trichoderma spp. as entomopathogenic fungi against cabbagehead catterpillar, Crocidolomia binotalis. Trichoderma spp. isolates were isolated from soil collected by digging 5–10 cm of soil randomly at three sampling stations in the valley area and allowed to undergo propagation, purification, and identification by macroscopic and microscopic observation stages before subjected to pathogenicity test. Three species of Trichoderma proved highly lethal to C. binotalis. Two species even created 100% mortality after 120 h of treatment. Enzimatic substances such as chitinase in Trichoderma spp. are considered as the main reason for its pathogenicity.
