A checklist, in a systematic sequence, was prepared for the species of Spilomelinae occurring in India. As per the current checklist prepared, 370 species under 120 genera were documented. The report accounted for 9.05% of species and 36.69% of genera from India as compared to global record. The genera and species were listed alphabetically. Further, the valid name, type genus, type species, type locality, synonyms and distribution of each species under each genus were documented. The study provides base for further taxonomic research on this economically important group.
