The slow release nanogel formulation of pheromone methoxy benzene traps were installed in the field at the first shower of the monsoon with following distance of 10, 15, 20 and 25 m against H. consanguinea. The beetles were collected from these traps revealed that the maximum beetles were collected from traps installed at the distance of 15 m with 38.00, 62.60, 48.20, 40.00, 34.60, 27.40, 20.00 and 6.00 no. of beetles at 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th days after first monsoon shower, respectively followed by at 10 meter radius also gave good results in terms of no. of collected beetles. Minimum beetles recorded from the traps installed at the distance of 25 m followed by 20 m radius.
