The subfamily Glaphyriinae was established by Forbes in 1923 with type genus Glaphyria Hübner, 1823. It is one of the major subfamilies of Pyraloidea, represents 452 described species under 75 genera all over the world. In the current paper, a checklist was prepared for the species of Glaphyriinae occurring in India in a systematic sequence. As per the present checklist prepared, 24 species under 8 genera were recognized. The report accounted for 5.31% of species and 10.67% of genera from India as compared to global record. The genera and species were listed alphabetically. Further, the valid name, type genus, type species, type locality synonyms, host range and distribution of each species under each genus were provided.
