Abstract

This study investigated the role of human and population growth in biodiversity. This study was conducted by reviewing the terms biodiversity, biomass, carbon storage, and species frequency. Articles were searched in databases during 1986–2022. Biodiversity is currently severely damaged due to the increase in human population and the use of knowledge and technology. So more than ever, biodiversity needs the attention and management of intelligent humans so that the biosphere is not exposed to dangerous damage. This article shows the importance of biodiversity on Earth and the destructive role of human in reducing biodiversity and the importance of controlling this dangerous process by intelligent humans.
