Field evaluation of six ecofriendly modules was carried out against red ant, Dorylus orientalis at the farmers’ field of Charaibahi, Jorhat, Assam. Pooled analysis of two years data revealed that among the tested modules, Module-II recorded lowest plant mortality (9.14 and 14.00% at 40 and 60 DAS) and found to be significantly superior over other modules. Recommended Package of Practices (RPP) registered 8.47 and 13.32% plant mortality at 40 and 60 DAS which was found to be at par with Module-II. As regards to green pod yield, highest yield (103.23 q/ha) was recorded in RPP but found at par with the Module-II (102.74 q/ha). The highest benefit cost ratio (1.53) was recorded in RPP followed by Module-II (1.43) and Module-VI (1.37).
