Chlorantraniliprole was most toxic showing LC50 0.031 and 0.010% at 24 and 48 h against L. orbonalis. In rabi, 2020 and spring, 2021 chlorantraniliprole @ 40 g a.i. ha−1 recorded 0.35 number of infested shoot with 0.25 number infested fruits and 0.25 number of infested shoot with 0.20 number of infested fruits. The fruit length for both rabi, 2020 and spring, 2021 was found to be significantly highest in plot treated with chlorantraniliprole @ 40 g a.i. ha−1 17.75 ± 0.45 cm and 17.50 ± 0.21 cm. The highest benefit was obtained from the treatment of chlorantraniliprole @ 40 g a.i. ha−1 with a cost-benefit ratio of 1: 5.63 with the maximum yield 40.23 q/ha.
