Abstract

Results of 2-years experiment revealed that both larval population and pod infestation due to M. vitrata were lowest in the treatment coragen 20 SC (@ 0.3 ml/l water) and followed by spinosad 45% SC (@ 0.6 ml/l water), emamectin benzoate 5% SG (@ 0.5 g/l water), cartap-hydrochloride 50% SP (@ 1.25 g/l water), novaluron 10% EC (@ 1.8 ml/l water), neem oil 1500 ppm (@ 3.75 ml/l water), achook (0.03%) (@ 7.5 ml/l water) and NSKE (5%). Among all the treatments coragen 20% SC @ 0.3 ml/l water was found most effective in controlling larval population and pod infestation.
