Abstract

A total of 26 termite species were identified belonging to 3 families. The result shows that the most diversity was seen in June, July, August, and September of both study years due to the favorable rainfall and temperature. In both years, there was a lot of rain in August, which affected the environmental temperature and caused termites to swarm. Additionally, it moistens the soil, creating a better environment for their colonial activity. Rainfall was found an important environmental factor that affects termite diversity and colony organization.
