Evaluation of baseline toxicity to thiamethoxam in mustard aphid Lipaphis erysimi (Kaltenbach) under laboratory conditions

Abstract

LC50 of thiamethoxam to aphids reared over 8 generations under laboratory conditions without selection pressure was estimated to be 3.33 ppm as against 6.08 ppm in the parental population indicating the existence of field level resistance in the local population to the insecticide.
