The present study was conducted to find the suitability of four tapioca cultivars viz., MVD-1, H226, CO-2 and CO-4 with castor, YRCH-1 as control as hosts of eri silkworm. The result of the study revealed that the highest values in all the economic parameters was noted in control, castor YRCH-1. Among the four tapioca cultivars, MVD-1 provided the highest values followed by cultivars CO-2 and H226. The least economic traits were recorded in cultivar CO-4. Thus tapioca cultivars MVD-1, CO-2 and H226 can be utilized for rearing eri silkworm.
