In multi-location trials to test the bio-efficacy of insecticidal schedules against seed borer, Trymalitis margarias Meyrick on sapota at two different ecological zones. Sequential application of profenofos and indoxacarb as well as deltamethrin and Bt reduced the fruit damage up to 2.48 and 2.54% than control (7.38%) at Gandevi location. However, at Periyakulam, the sequential application of deltamethrin and Bt as well as profenofos and indoxacarb minimized fruit damage up to 0.9 and 1.17% than control (6.84%).
