Four different artificial diets (CP, SF, BF and AG), developed for rearing of S. frugiperda larvae, were evaluated based on their preference bioassays. We have observed number of visitors (3rd instars larvae), weight consumed, weight gained by FAW larvae and detection time of artificial diets. Based upon the preference studies, the BF artificial diet was found the most efficient than other diets.
