Male S. frugiperda had 30.85 days of shortest overall life cycle on pearl millet and 34.36 days on sugarcane. Similarly, the shortest total life cycle of female S. frugiperda on pearl millet was 33.34 and 36.04 days on sugarcane. lx to the extent of 0.52 and 0.70 per individual within a pivotal age of 27 and 31 days, Ro was 26.40 and 77.85 females/female/generation, T (length of generation time) was 30.84 and 35.08 days, rm was 0.106 and 0.124 female/female/day and λ was 1.11 and 1.13 females/female on pearl millet and sugarcane respectively. The population of S. frugiperda reared pearl millet and sugarcane had a steady age distribution of 26.23, 67.15, 5.20, and 1.42% and 32.33, 62.14, 4.46, and 1.07%, respectively.
