The data revealed that more yield losses occurred due to Spodoptera litura, Gesonia gema, Achaya janata, Chrysodeixis acuta, Helicoverpa armigera attack and number of pods, seed and weight of seeds reduced when the crop suffered damage at 50% flowering i.e. reproductive stage as compared to before flowering and after complete flowering stage. Also, the losses increased due to leaf damage ranging 20 to 60% by defoliators and 10 -50% stem hole caused by stem fly. The yield losses observed ranged from 11 -46%, 18-54% and 21 -55% in pods, seeds number and seeds weight/plant during 1st year and in 2nd year, losses ranged from 17 -49%, 20 -55% and 22 -56% to above stated parameters.
