In this study, the city of Rasht was divided into five geographical regions. Fifty residential houses were randomly selected from each area. Then, a questionnaire containing 30 questions was completed with the consent of the residents of the houses. People with dermatitis were between 5 and 70 years old. Most of the people involved in the conflict with Paederus were between the 15 -40 years. The prevalence of this paederus dermatitis was recorded in spring and summer. Dermatitis in the neck region was 74% and 18% in hands. Paederus dermatitis medically known as dermatitis linearis, is a common health problem in northern Iran.
