This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge, attitude, and performance of women in Kerman about health hazards, the correct storage method, and the use of pesticides at home. This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in Kerman city in 2022. A total of 627 women from Kerman city were selected. The instrument used in the questionnaire included two parts of background information and questions about awareness, attitude, and performance. The data were checked and analyzed after collecting the data and entering SPSS 16 software. Based on the results, 42% of the women had a bachelor’s degree or higher and most of them are employed. The women of Kerman city considered improving the environment the best and most appropriate way to fight insects. People who studied or were trained in poison had higher knowledge, attitude, and performance. Given that women had good knowledge and attitude but low performance, people should be taught safety issues in using pesticides through different ways such as the media, health and treatment centers, poison supply and distribution centers.
