A study on the management of mustard aphid, Lipaphis erysimi (Kaltenbach) in an ecofriendly manner under climatic conditions of Western Uttar Pradesh, India

Abstract

In present study six treatments i.e., two chemical insecticides, one botanical and two microbial insecticides were evaluated against mustard aphid. Results revealed that imidacloprid 17.8 SL and thiamethoxam 25 WG, effectively suppressed the aphid population followed by neem oil 1500 ppm, Verticillium lecanii (108 spores /ml) and Beauveria bassiana (108 spores/ml).
