Abstract

Present study was conducted to determine the growth and development of the larvae of E. undata on Tectona grandis. The various parameters were recorded including consumption index (C.I.), approximate digestibility (A.D.), growth rate (G.R.), efficiency of conversion of ingested food (E.C.I.) and efficiency of conversion of digested food (E.C.D.). The host plant T. grandis was found suitable for the growth and development of larvae of E. undata. Food quality could cause significant difference in consumption and development of insect’s larvae.
