Abstract

The activity and incidence of insects are strongly related to their decline. Recently, six insect pests are reported from tree beans with implications on the decline of the Parkia roxburghii a multipurpose tree grown by the local people in the Manipur valley. In addition, the occurrence of Tribolium confusum on tree beans is reported for the first time with arthropod insects are also reported on tree beans, adding to the scanty literature on the insect pest complex of tree beans.
