In this article, new faunistic records of 11 species of water beetles belonging to the families Dytiscidae, Gyrinidae and Hydrophilidae (Insecta: Coleoptera) from different states of India are presented along with high quality photographs. Three species of Dytiscidae, two species of Gyrinidae, and six species of Hydrophilidae were collected and identified from 25 different locations in 12 Indian states. The distribution records of these species are presented along with their distribution records in Indian states and other countries are reviewed. A map showing newly recorded localities of the species reported in this paper is also included.
