Butterfly species, Extra Lascar, Pantoporia sandaka (Butler, 1892) (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae: Limenitidinae), is a new record from Arunachal Pradesh. It was recently spotted in Arunachal Pradesh during surveys carried out under the auspices of the Zoological Survey of India. The butterfly was initially observed at Gumto Village, Doimukh, Itanagar, and Pasighat, Logen Village, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh.
