In the present study, we have come out with a very simple technique of providing blood with the help of cotton gauze. It was seen that the mosquitoes were attracted towards the blood in the same way as they do when they feed on a human host. The observations presented here in this paper, report a safe and convenient way to provide blood meal to the mosquitoes to carry out different entomological and virological experiments.
