Efficacy of ethyl acetate extract of Gliricidia sepium leaves was evaluated against O. longicollis. Results indicated significant, time-dependent post-treatment changes in the total protein, amino acid, glycogen contents of whole body and haemolymph respectively. The histological studies of O. longicollis treated with G. sepium extract showed significant variations in the gut which suggest the potential of G. sepium ethyl acetate extract.
