Results revealed that 3 times consecutive spraying of NSKE 5% was found to be the best treatment against both whitefly and jassid with mean population of 0.90 and 1.00 leaf−1 with 82.91 and 83.52% reduction over control, respectively as compared to application of Lecanicillium lecanii @ 5 g l−1 followed by NSKE 5% followed by Beauveria bassiana @ 5 g l−1 was found as second best treatment with mean whitefly and jassid population of 1.30 and 1.47 leaf−1 with 75.32 and 75.82% reduction over control. The results also showed that higher number of population for natural enemies in all the treatments of biocontrol and their per cent population reduction over control is below 50% which confirmed the beneficial effect of bio-rational insecticides in multiplying the population of natural enemies. Also there was highest marketable yield of 10.80 t ha−1 with 59.17% increase in yield over control, 37.18% avoidable yield loss and incremental cost benefit ratio of 1:6.25 making it the most profitable.
