Abstract

In present study the effect of nutritional management on pests of cabbage under a common protection umbrella was assessed. 10% reduction in N-fertlizer + 10% enhancement in K-fertlizer (single dose and split) + foliar and soil application of seaweed extract recorded good yields (10658 - 21540 kg/ha; yield gain: 116.09 - 136.78%), lower pest incidence and damage under common protection regime comprising of neem oil and cyantraniliprole. Addition of foliar application of boron resulted in further improved performance of the treatments and better benefit-cost ratio.
