The study revealed that the stray population of aphids (Aphis gossypii) was found dominant in November and December during both cropping years. The activity of sucking pest whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) initiated in November and was constant up to the February. The activity of potato leaf hopper (Empoasca fabae) started in November and was constant up to the February. Present study revealed that the application of some newly introduced insecticides influence the population of sucking insects of potato crop in different months of cropping season. After treatment with T1 -thiamethoxam 25 WG @ 150 g/ha, T2 -imidacloprid 17.8 SL @ 150 ml/ha and T3 -flonicamid 50% WG @ 150 ml/ha, resulting the good control of population of aphids/10 plant in comparison to other insecticides. The population of both whitefly and leaf hopper was also recorded minimum from application of thiamethoxam and followed by imidacloprid and flonicamid than other insecticides.
