Roving survey carried out in 3 major sesamum growing mandals in Srikakulam district revealed the presence of two major leafhopper species viz., Hishimonus phycitis (Distant) and Orosius orientalis (Mastumura). The line diagrams of important male genitalia structures along with colour photographs were also provided in detail for these species. The taxonomic characters of the Antigastra catalaunalis larva was described based on the morphological characters and cheatotaxy on prothrax, mesothorax, metathorax and abdominal segments.
