Bio-efficacy and economics of different botanical insecticides against red spider mite, Tetranychus ludeni on Sarpagandha in Bihar

Abstract

Amongst the treatments used, application of Azadirachtin @ 1500 ppm (4 ml/l) was found most effective against red spider mite as compared to other botanical treatments, water spray and untreated control. This treatment also gave maximum cost benefit ratio (1 : 7.90).
