A fixed plot survey was conducted to explore the diversity of arthropod pests associated with low chilling apple (Malus pumila) varieties. Seven arthropod pests were identified during the course of the investigation: four lepidopterans, the Bihar hairy caterpillar (Spilosoma obliqua), apple looper (Phrissogonus laticostata), army worm (Spodoptera frugiperda) and leaf roller (Archipstermias); one coleopteran, the white spotted flea beetle (Monolepta signata); one hemipteran pest, Green apple aphid, Aphis pomi and one non-insect pest, mite (Tetranychus piercei). Taxonomic keys were utilised to identify every species that was gathered. The thorough data produced on the diversification of arthropod pests connected to low chilling apple varieties would be beneficial in developing pest management strategies.
