Bioefficacy of four indigenous plant powders against pulse beetle Callosobruchus analis (fab.) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae)

Abstract

In this study, the efficacy of four plant powders namely Sapindus mukrossi, Moringa oleifera, Rosa indica and Cassia fistula was assessed at dose 1, 2, 3 and 5 g/100 g on Vigna radiata seeds. The studies reveal that these plant powders show significant level of adult mortality, reduced oviposition and adult emergence from infested V. radiata.
