Abstract

The study revealed that developmental period of maggot, pre-pupal, pupal and adult emergence with adult longevity as well as reproductive parameters such as mating, oviposition period and fecundity of uzi fly varied according to temperature and humidity. Maximum maggot, pupal and adult period was observed in January at 10°C temperature, while maximum fecundity was recorded during kharif season at 92% maximum humidity as compared to other season. On the morphometrics there was no effect under laboratory conditions.
