Present study aimed to determine the effectiveness of various biopesticides in managing giant African snail Achatina fulica in soybean ecosystem by artificial releasing of snails into the experimental field covered with nets. The mortality per cent of snails were calculated. Observations mainly focused on number of dead snails. There was a significant difference among all the tested biopesticides. Significantly higher mortality was recorded in Thevetia peruviana kernel alcohol extract (29.83%) followed by Thevetia peruviana kernel aqueous extract (21.5%) and Tobacco decoction + copper sulphate (21.5%). Also the maximum yield increase over control was obtained in the treatment with Thevetia peruviana kernel alcohol extract (65.68%) followed by Thevetia peruviana kernel aqueous extract (61.53%) and Tobacco decoction + copper sulpahte (57.31%). Thevetia peruviana kernel alcohol extract found to be more effective biopesticide against giant African snails.
