Abstract

Present study investigates the diversity of insect pests infesting Assam lemon (Citrus limon L. Burm) in Morigaon, Assam, India. Field surveys were performed on a regular basis across the four seasonal phases (pre-monsoon, monsoon, retreating monsoon, and winter) to gather and classify pest species. Results revealed that pest diversity is heavily influenced by seasonal changes, and monitoring of pest diversity is the key component of sustainable agriculture so that the production of Assam lemon in Maanipur can be enhanced along with improvement in crop resilience.
