This research finding documents the first confirmed occurrence of the cicada Huechys incarnata Haupt, 1924 from Bihar, India. Adults, nymph and newly emerging individuals were firstly encountered at Motihari (26.631150°N, 84.898324°E; Elevation 92 m), secondly at Madhubanighat (26.61177493°N, 84.98377086°E; Elevation 68 m) followed by Pakdidayal located in East-Champaran, Bihar on 03 May 2025 during surveys. Identification made by MD Rashid Nayeem is based on external morphology and corroborated using regional treatments and online taxonomic resources. Prior checklists list mentions H. incarnata for India but provide no published records from Bihar; hence these data fill a distributional gap for the Indo-Gangetic Plain. Brief notes on habitat, phenology, and diagnostic features are provided.
