Abstract

This research article emphasises how researches are conducted on children and the way they are excluded in the engagement of research process by establishing the mis/fact that children are minor and naïve and cannot be the trustworthy narrator of their contexts and circumstances. However, on the other hand, recent trends in childhood studies include the participation of children in the studies which matter to them. The exclusion of children’s narratives and experiences created a gap to understand children from their viewpoints. Children’s experiences of places and context explain how that particular geography has influenced the phenomena/issue (to be researched).
