Abstract

In field trials on lemon grass, the effect of growth regulators, indole butyric acid (IBA) and mepiquat chloride (MC), and their mode of applications were studying to assess their effects on herb, oil yield and hormonal contents. The results suggested that application of growth regulators had no favorable effect on herb and oil yields in lemon grass. However, application of me decreased endogenous GA and IAA while IBA increased them.
