Cluster frontline demonstrations (CFLDs) on chickpea during the year 2017–18 and 2018–19 in 7 and 8 villages, respectively was conducted by Krishi Vigyan Kendra Bhiwani. The study reveals that variety CSJ-515 recorded an average grain yield of 17.00q/ha which was observed to be 50% higher over farmer's practice viz. 11.3q/ha. Further, it was observed that during 2017–18 and 2018–19, average grain yield in demonstration recorded was 18.10 and 15.90 q/ha, while in farmers' practice it was recorded as 10.1 and 12.50 q/ha, respectively. There was an 80% gap in seed treatment between recommended and farmers' practice, 85% in nitrogen and 80% in phosphorus application, 95% in biofertilizer (Rhizo +PSB) application, 100% in proper and timely weed management and a 100% gap in Helicoverpa armigera management.
