Abstract

Laparoscopic tubal sterilization with Falope ring was performed in 3998 females during the year 1995 to 1999 at Post Partum ‘A’ type centre of the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal. Majority ofthe cases (55.13%) came for sterilisation with M T.P. 2090 (52.28%) case were of the parity 4 and above. Majority of the cases (42.17%) were ofage group of 31 to 35 years in 85 cases (2.13%) there were complications.
