A man aged about 70 years was found dead. It was about 3 to 5 days since his death when body was found. The case was in advanced stage of decomposition. Coronary arterics showed atherosclerosis sufficient enough to deduct cause of death. Significance of atherosclerosis in decomposed bodies from medico-legal point of viewis discussed.
