Organ weights in 152 noninfected individuals dying in accidents and brought for autopsy at IGMC, Nagpur during Feb. 1993 to Jan. 1995 were studied 82.23% of all cases were males and 84.86% of all the cases were adults. All the organs except heart, loose their weights as age advances. Brain and liver grow rapidly in the first decade of the life itself. Organ weights in females are less than males of same age and they are linearly related to the body weight in both sexes. ‘Average’ for each organ determined and findings are compared with those of other workers.
