Abstract

A 27 years old male patient, a painter by profession was admitted in ICU with history of ingestion of industrial chloroform. He was brought in an unconscious state. This case is unusual in its presentation since patient had consumed more than the fatal dose with no dysrhythmia in his entire stay, instead he presented with severe acute hepatic failure and renal failure. His stay in ICU was 14 days where he was managed successfully.
