A charred skull was referred to our centre for identification from another hospital. Subsequently, antemortem record was provided to us. It consisted of an upper partial denture which was still under construction and a smiling photograph of a suspected missing person. Identification was done on the basis of ethnic variation, forensic odontology findings, photo-skull superimposition and half a set of “Chanel” earring.
