Abstract

In the present study, seventy five adult human dried skulls were taken. We compared the cranial index and cranial length height index in our study at Geetanjai medical College Udaipur in year 2011. The cranial index and cranial length height index were calculated by spreading and sliding calipers. Findings are compared with those of previous workers. Average cranial index in the Marwar is found 75.49 indicating these crania belonging to the indo-Dravidian race. Cranial lengthheight index falls in orthocranic group and is 74.70. We found significant correlation between these parameters (p<0.05).
