Agricultural society has moved from industrialized society to information society. Society could be better informed as a result of developments in ICT. The relationship between farmers and extension agents should be strong so that betterment would happen. Tamil Nadu Government has launched bi-lingual (Tamil and English) Uzhavan mobile application in a bid to use technology for the benefit of farmers. The focus of the present study is to find out profile characteristics of extension officers, to find persuading factors on utilizing uzhavan app as perceived by the extension officers and to bring up the changes felt by the extension officers after utilizing uzhavan application. An ex-post facto research design was adopted for the study and data was collected from a sample of 30 respondents of Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu, India during January 2020. Operability, timeliness, accuracy, directness, readability and creditability were the most persuading factors of utilization of uzhavan app by the extension officers in Tamil Nadu. Farmers and extension officers together should contribute to the utility of this user friendly Uzhavan app, the positive attributes of this Uzhavan app technology could be strengthened so as to it will be used by more number of farmers effectively.
