The study was conducted in four purposively selected districts (Coimbatore, Salem, Trichy, Kumbakonam, and Tirunelveli), where farmers, extension officials, and custom hiring operators, totalling 90 respondents, were interviewed about farm machinery operation and custom hiring services through a structured schedule. Responses regarding the usefulness of the mobile app were recorded on a three-point scale: most satisfied (score of 3), satisfied (score of 2), and least satisfied (score of 1). Item-wise perception scores were calculated based on the mean, and from these scores, the perception index was determined for each respondent. The results of the study indicated that the overall perception of the extension personnel (perception score: 4.1) and farmers (perception score: 4.0) regarding the mobile app ranged from most satisfactory to satisfactory levels.
