For the present study two Krishi Vigyan Kendras and One Regional Research Station (Soybean), were selected from the Amravati district and a total of 30 scientists from different departments were selected. It is observed that the majority of the respondent scientists appeared to be in the middle-aged group, educated upto M. Sc degree, medium level of service experience i.e. 6 to 20 years, received more than 4 trainings, were satisfied with the availability of ICT material to a medium extent having high level of knowledge about ICT and medium level of extent of use. It is noted that a majority i.e. 73.33 percent of the respondent scientists had used these information and communication technologies for information retrieval or data updating, data analysis, for finding references, for searching details related to subjects printing and presentations. The correlation shows that training received, availability of material and knowledge were significantly related with the extent of use ICT. Majority i.e. 80.00 percent of the respondent scientists faced problems of less availability of ICT gadgetry in the departments.
