Traditional Media is an art and science and it includes folk art, folk dances, folk music, street plays etc. Traditional media is very vital, and has been helping in many ways to disseminate information on social, economic, political issues and technologies in agriculture and allied sectors for ages. Even now, it is one of the powerful communication tool for illiterate farmers who live in remote areas and to the people of different origin, language, races, caste, class, creed, tribe etc. The traditional Media is deteriorating due to lack financial support, reduction of professional artists and the invasion of new media tools. The best ways are to be innovated to popularise and promote the traditional media and the traditional artists to continue their profession. One of the ways is the integration of Traditional Media with modern media by means of using Information and Communication Technology tools. Information and Communication Technology tools will surely help the traditional media to become global and will make it popular across the world. This will not only aid in conserving traditional media but also be useful for effective transfer of technology. This paper presents effective ways and means of integrating traditional media with modern media and the benefits it brings to traditional media and also the reach, effectiveness and efficiency in Transfer of Technology.
