Information is serving a significant role in modern corporate business. Information performs various functions and help in the expansion and easy work flow of the business. In corporate companies’ information moves in multi direction, both horizontal and vertical forms of communication are common. Management of these companies always support a centralised top down communication system for the benefit and welfare of the company as well as for the public. It reduces the flow of vague information or grapevine. The importance of information is never ignored by the modern corporate companies. The lack of information sharing may cause a severe negative effect on business. Information also helps to build corporate reputation and corporate image which gives the company a strong base. The strategic corporate communications are also need information for the creation ofthe strategy. Information and data culturing are helping the corporate companies from numerous ways and providing a support for the expansion of the business. The study is an attempt to describe significance and importance of mass media in corporate business. It ends with conclusion that, corporate focus on mass media and information dissemination process for their own benefit, for the welfare of the society and, for coping up with global competitive market.
